Not being funny but this forum still doesn't remember my username if I leave and come back. Literally every other forum is OK. I know you updated the software and that took a long time, but why we still getting this issue?

Can you be more specific as to how it doesn't "remember your username"?

Well I don't know how much you know about cookies, but if I log in and return 8 hours later the User Name and password fields are blank. It's as if the cookies aren't working. Yet every other site I use I stay logged on unless I willingly choose to log off. I hope this is of some help. If you need screenshots or videos I'm happy to provide these as well.

When you login, do you click the little box next to "Remember Me"?

Don't know. I can't recreate your issue. Maybe trash your cookies for this domain? Dunno.
