I ended up hijacking the last portion of the thread below, but here is where many people were listing some of their favorite music:
Your 5 Favorite Songs This Week
As for myself, I love Blues, Jazz, Salsa (especially the Afro-Cuban stuff), Reggae (the Dancehall variety), 80's music, Soul, but most of all, I especially love old school hip-hop (anything
pre-1993).

I love punk, alternative, some emo (have to be in the right mood), underground, oldies, rock, sometimes classical (random, eh?)......but i'll listen to anything as long as it isn't rap, country, or opera...

I like: Classic rock, some modern rock, some of that "emo" stuff is good, some indie, some classical, some cheesy tunes as well.....I know I absolutely ABHOR country and gansta rap or whatever it's called though....If it's Garth Brooks or 50 cent....You lost me!

I'm a child of the Grunge revolution, so I like anything with that early to mid-nineties Seattle sound.
I also like stuff from the 70s very much.

I'm fickle when it comes to music! I enjoy just about anything and everything. Like someone else previously mentioned, it kinda depends on the mood one happens to be in. I normally tend to crank anything from the 70's and 80's !!!

I listen to anything except techno and yodeling. I mostly listen to modern music, such as Chris Brown, Usher, T-Pain, Beyoncé, Linkin Park, etc. I also enjoy Frank Sinatra, music from the 50's, and old school hip-hop/rap (the real stuff).

I dig anything with a good groove, but I'm a hopeless Nirvana fan.
That said, my bag is hard big band jazz and swing, 1920's-1940's. I've got 3 stacks of 78's "this" (holds hand flat, 5 feet in the air) high.

Always remember to keep one foot in the groove

HEAVY METAL
Im an old school metal head. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, Vengeance Rising, Sacred Warrior. I also dig doom metal like Cathedral, Saint Vitus, Place of Skulls and Electric Wizard.
I like all kinds of music except for hip hop, rap and country. Right now Ive been listening to a lot of blues and 40's big band.

So far Dopethrone is my favorite. I really dig the guitar sound. I dont know what type of tuning they use but it is incredibly low!

I listen to all types.
One moment I will be listening to The Carpenters, and the next Italo disco.
I love the groups from the 70's: Boston, KISS, Kansas, ELO, and Queen.

I'm an oddball. I like country. Older stuff mainly.
But I do like some rock, 70's-80's stuff like ABBA, classical and jazz.
