Ronnie's court "apearence"

Postby VampireKen » Mon Aug 29, 2011 1:18 pm

Was Ronnie's bear shaved off for the trial? I saw a pic in one of the other threads of him in the cop car and never realized it was him until the caption said it was ronnie going to court. Was this for the entire trial? It's the first...and only picture I've seen of him with no beard.

Usually a defense lawyer will tell his client to appear business like during a trial. Looking like a hippy back then would be viewed as a negative to a jury. The beard was probably shaved for this reason.

I remember seeing one clip of Ronnie being asked questions by the plantive in a documentary. He was wearing a green shirt and he had a beard.

Ronnie's bear shaved for court!

Oh, and no offense meant Ken. I realize it was just a typo on your part, it just reminded me of this photo. ;)

Apparently it's a shaved bear. Showing us that animals look quite different without their fur. Kinda reminds me of that Montauk Monster -- the mystery animal which washed ashore in 2008, all swollen with sea water and without its fur...

They look evil without their fur.

I don't know, I think the shaved bear looks a lot less scary than a regular one... at least until you notice the big old claws still on the ends of those muscular legs.

Oh and even though I called it a "shaved bear" my understanding is that it actually has a mange infection that made it's fur fall out. which seems believable since there is still fur around its face, tail, chest, and a little on its back. You may have seen dogs with mange, usually they just get bald patches, this bear must have a really bad case.
