If you're used to looking at pictures of young girls with half their face caved in from gunshot wounds then they're not gross at all. Other than that, not much worth even mentioning here again, or starting a thread about it.

I agree DOCA, these pictures are heartbreaking. I have to say, I'll never be the same again after seeing them. In fact, I'm 10x more frustrated about what happened to the family now.

I'm not sure who released the photos, or how they came to be online, but yes there are photos of the bodies at the house and apparently the autopsy photos (although I don't know whether those are still online.)RavenStar wrote:You mean they actually released pictures of the bodies??

In a deposition that Ric Osuna gave on 1-15-04, he admitted giving the crime scene photos to not only Christopher Berry-Dee...but a minor as well.
I guess ol' Tricky Ricky was pretty desperate for supporters.
Anyway...here's part of that deposition...
Q. The crime scene photos are on the net?
A. Yes.
Q. Where would one go to find those?
A. I don't know the exact web site. That's just
what the rumor is.
Q. Have you seen them on the net?
A. I've seen a few.
Q. So, it's not a rumor. You know it's there.
A. No. I mean, all of them. I haven't seen all of
them on the net.
Q. Where did you see -- and you don't remember what
web site you saw them?
A. Well, no. I can tell you -- I don't know the
address, but the address was some criminology web site
from the U.K.
Q. That's news here.
A. Okay.
MR. KIMBALL: No one you're associated with;
correct?
THE WITNESS: No way. They're not my
associate -- I mean --
BY MR. NERSESIAN:
Q. Well, you don't know if Blaine did it?
A. No, no. I'm not saying Blaine did it. I'm just
saying --
Q. I'm not saying he did or didn't.
A. Oh, okay.
Q. You're stating positively that nobody you're
associated with disseminated those photos.
A. I basically -- my understanding of it is I gave
photos to a criminologist to investigate some of the
things in my book, because I wanted some answers from a
so-called professional. He later turned around and used
those photos for his own purposes, which I never gave him
permission. And Mrs. Gates DeFeo, or DeFeo Gates never
gave permission, so --
Q. Has any action been taken against him?
A. That, I'm not sure of.
Q. Any cease and desist letters from you or
anything?
A. From me, no.
Q. What's a criminologist?
A. Someone who investigates crimes.
Q. All right. This person who you gave it to, did
you check his credentials?
A. As much as I could. It seemed authentic at the
time.
Q. Because it sounds like at least -- did you pay
him for his work?
A. Oh, no. No. No. No. He's investigated the
Amityville Murders before.
Q. Ah.
A. And, so, I found his name, and I was, like, Hey,
you know, maybe this guy can help.
Q. How old is Blaine?
A. Seventeen, eighteen. I'm not sure.

The last dance,

One song,
Doesn't last that long.

A dream can still be born again.

He was a 16 (17 maybe) year-old kid that became a RABID fan of Ric's, ran the old Hoax board for awhile, and was probably the one who leaked the photos. Sherb had some memorable "conversations" with him on the net, lol.
Anyway, he was known for being a largely sycophantic supporter of Ric & Gerri's stories and was quick to lash out at those who didn't buy into it.

Good to know that the well-being and respect for the current living family members of the Defeos was looked after by a sixteen year old...BillyCigars wrote:He was a 16 (17 maybe) year-old kid that became a RABID fan of Ric's...

I've been looking everywhere for the DeFeo autopsy photos. Do they truly exist? I've seen a couple pictures from the night of the murders from Amityvillemurders.com but thats it and I've really looked.
I know its against policy to link to them here due to their morbid nature but if someone could PM me a link, I'd be very appreciative!! Thanks, Bryan
