The Amityville 1992 house - if you zoom in on some of the exterior shots, you see a house number above the garage door of what appears to be 24722.

Good find Reg... I'm gonna have to download that one and watch it, see if maybe I can catch a street name or something. It's easier for me to freeze frame on the laptop than on the blu-ray player lol

Apparently, the house from 1992 is in Mexico.

I came into contact with someone who was involved with the movie, and while he couldn't remember the address, told me that it was in Calabasas. I did a Google search of 24722+Calabasas and it gave me a street name, so I entered the full address into Bing maps and voila!

I should be an FBI agent.

That tree on the front lawn has grown a lot since 1992:

Here's some comparison photos of the Amityville 4 Interior.

The Den/Staircase
Image

The chandelier, which has clearly been changed to a more modern type.
Image

In this shot, you can clearly see that there is another HUGE room attached to the house. This room was blocked out in the film with a false wall put up. That room would make the house look too big on the inside for the house that's shown on the outside.

A long shot of the Den/Entrance.

The Den fireplace and Dining Room entrance.

The Dining Room, which is shown a few brief times in the film.
Image

Kitchen Entrace, you can see the same fireplace in both photos.

Kitchen.

A shot of the staircase going up.

I couldn't tell which end of the hallway was which in this photo, so I used 2 shots from the film to show each end. It looks as if they built a fake staircase leading to the "Attic" which actually doesn't exist and was a set built for the film.

Thanks!!! I also just noticed that if you look at the Dining Room photo, in the recent picture there is a large mirror above the fireplace. In the film, that mirror is in that room, but on the opposite wall in the film.

WOW.

That's all I have to say about this.

I posted the image of the house in California used in Page 2 of this thread over at IMDB a few years back, but had no idea how you guys found the locations of all the interiors and such. Amazing. :P

Well well well, stumbled upon this by accident - a 1980 horror movie "The Unseen" also uses the house on Telegraph Road, the one from Amityville 4 and others.

Kathy, I just watched this movie and it looks like not only did they use the same house for exteriors, but they also used the same house in Altadena that Amityville 4 used for interiors! I found it really interesting that both movies used the same two locations.

can anyone get a recent picture of the 1992 and 4 houses?

I have a new post I want to work on, but, I need recent photos of them. If the ones we have on here are the most recent, then, I could use those.

Also, the 1992 house RegRead posted is giving me the Red X. =( Anyone have it?

I've seen a few photos of the part 4 grandma house, but I'm not sure which is the most recent.

I will be writing a review of the entire series (minus Amityville Haunting), and also getting the plots out to people who dont know about the other movies, sorting out the continuity of the films etc.
