Looper film

Post by Rokiisun » Tue Oct 02, 2012 2:38 pm

So, Looper starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-levitt and
Emily Blunt hit the UK cinemas on Friday last week and
I must say, this movie has blown my mind. It's probably the
second best film I have seen this year (dark knight rises being the
first, obviously).

In the year 2044 time travel does not exist, but 30 years into the
future, it does. In 2044 the mob hires trainned assassins called,
'Loopers' to kill targets sent to them from the future and when a
Looper is due to retire, they send his future self loaded with gold
as a retirement fund for the next thirty years before the loop is closed.
However, one Looper (Joe) finds himself in trouble when his future
self escapes to embark on a plan of his own....

I was on my seat the entire time. The only thing which weirded me out
was the make-up job they did on levitt to make him look more like Bruce,
Being a big fan of levitt's work it was strange seeing the change, but you
guys have got to see this film if you get the chance. It's too awesome to
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.

The new Bruce Willis movie "Looper" opens this weekend, in which Willis' character is sent back in time to kill himself.

And while most scientists say time travel isn't possible, a Washington attorney claims he's done it dozens of times as part of a secret Cold War project.

"I have physically traveled in time," says Andrew Basiago, an attorney in Vancouver, Wash. "We have - we did over 40 years ago."

Now Basiago is on a mission - to reveal what he calls a 40-year government cover-up - of Project Pegasus - where he says he was teleported back and sideways in time, dozens of times.

"I have the whole story, I have hundreds of facts," he says. "I can tell you what personnel were at what locations where and which travel device was being used."
