Watching the Para-Olympics has taught me so much about acceptance of other peoples different abilities, but also I have discovered they can lift more than me, throw further than me and run faster than me, but they still get to park closer to the shops??? (just a joke - don't complain)

I guess it was a little off topic Howard, but it has been cold, wet and windy up in the North of England over the past few days, and this was just something that made me :) flower :)…

Nope - still wet and windy at the moment.
I think in the field of Psychic research we all tend to take ourselves too serious (most of the time), so I just can’t help slipping a joke in whenever I get a chance. But reading back the thread… It did come across a bit random.

I totally understand:) It is cloudy and wet here today as well. I kind
of like it like this. Easier on my eyes. For some reason my eyes are
sensitive to bright light, so On days like this, I feel cozy:)

We've had some bad weather here of late ... the other day there was quite the sound of rumbling leading me to believe it was my stomach ...

God I just love vegemite, but it’s so hard to get hold of in the UK. Marmite on the other hand, is everywhere!

I have never tried vegemite. I heard it was nasty. Is it an
acquired taste? Or does it really taste good?

It is definitely an acquired taste Howard, a bit like blood pudding or mature Orkney Cheddar cheese... The first time I tried it I thought I'd been poisoned - but three months later I developed a real craven for it.

I meant to ask... Is the 64 a reference to your date of birth? If so - snap!

That's a good question.... I guess I'd count it as one of my 'five-a-day' but then again, I also count Cider and fruit-loops.
I'll have to read the side-panel ingredients on my next jar - I'll get back to you on that

I did a bit of research on Vegemite (just out of interest) and apparently it s was originally a by product of Australian beer… Well that probably explains why I like it so much!

You know, seeing that smeared like that, kinda turns
me off towards trying it. However I am still curious
about it:) I will see if there is like an import store or
something near here.

Made from beer byproducts?! wow...maybe the stuff may not
be so bad after all:) LOL

the girl looks happy to be eating it - but it doesn't make Vegemite look very appealing!!!
Made me laugh though.

Now Howard, if her face was covered in ice cream or honey, you'd be singing a different tune indeed, my friend! lmao

Personally I prefer vegemite on toasted and untoasted bread. It is also nice with a slice of cheese on the sandwich. Also you don't use too much of vegemite, spread it sparingly on the bread ... eating too much is known to cause heart burn, and this I can attest to personally.

Incidentally vegemite contains yeast extract, similar to that in beer ... although I am sure that people have tried to get inebriated from it, I can attest that it does not work (not that I have tried that experiment personally, mind you!)
