I too loved the show and I didn't read this whole thread but I was disturbed when I heard what the producers have in mind for next season.

http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/12/28/ameri ... wo-secret/

New location, new family and new actors. Some will be returning but as other characters. I guess the producers see this vehicle the way John Carpenter originally saw the Halloween franchise, a different story every year centered around Halloween.

Not sure if I like this idea with this show. No more Violet.... Sigh...

Wow, if I could afford it I would buy it. That is a beautiful house, and looks even better in these pics where they didn't make it all dark and gloomy like on screen. Make sure you all click on the pic at the bottom then you can scroll through 13 pictures. Gorgeous place.

That's obviously not the kitchen we saw on screen though. The one on screen was really nice, the real one is very funky looking with the fridge and everything recessed into the walls... only room I'd redo would be that kitchen, it looks very weird.

Anybody have a clue what picture 11 is? Looks like a two story house space all by itself without any floors or rooms, weird. I was a little concerned about the lack of wall clearance in my new pool room, but now I think I'll just move the table into this cavernous space and fill the rest with a bar, home theater, pinball and arcade games etc. ;)

Awesome sales video of the place at this site... http://vimeo.com/11062879

Man I really wish I was rich, I'm in love with this place.

I know what you mean Eber. I wish I could buy this place too! I love all the wood in the house but yeah I am with you about the kitchen, it is kind of weird looking.

American Horror Story

Postby annyecarol » Mon Nov 26, 2012 8:47 pm

I know this is a 2011 subject, but I've only now started watching this serie.
Have just watched the Pilot episode of AHS, and it's clear that the autors had
stolen Amityville references to go with it.

Are some of you watching it?

Yeah, I watch the show. I think the Amityville "references" are intentional. You'll see/hear others as the series progresses. Not really a rip-off, but more of a homage to horror films. Good show. You should enjoy it.

Love this show. Haven't watched any teasers for the 3rd season- want to be surprised & hope it lives up to the previous 2 seasons. Just got to photograph Zachary Quinto (BloodyFace & Previous owner of the 1st house) the other night: http://bit.ly/1bkrKbc

It looks like from the trailer's and Ryan Murphy's description, it's going back to the feel of the first season. I don't know how to feel about Evan Peters and Taissa Farmigas' characters having a relationship again. I think that should stay with the first season, thats what made the original story unique. The Love story in AHS Asylum was a complete disaster in story telling. I think American Horror Story:Murder House was more of the thriller, AHS Asylum was the horror, and AHS Coven will be the suspense story.
