I admit Eric's project seems interesting to me as well, his turn in the Ronnie DeFeo variety show, also known as The Final Testament, was the only part of that crap that seemed to resemble truth or even a fraction of sane thinking. I think that maybe the most 'door opening' documentary on this case yet, as well as the fact that I too am interested in knowing how those experiences and fame of sorts affected a younger member of the Lutz family.

I have to say I want to see "Amityville: The Legacy 3D," just because it's continuing a long line of fiction based on the Amityville myth. I think they should call it "The Amityville Legacy" though, or better yet: "Return to Amityville."
I'm proud of you son: Amityville, it's in your blood.

Daniel Day Lewis is an amazing actor. His acting is beyond that of a normal actor. And your right sherb. But you would have to find a fleet of people who could act as good as him. "Yes there will be blood." Is an outstanding movie, an "Gangs of New York." Dan Day Lewis is amazing.

Why is it I have a feeling none of these projects involving the Lutz boys will ever see the light of day?

Because we're hearing the "insider" info. If you subscribed to Variety and saw all the various deals being made for different TV and film projects, you'd see how most of the stuff ends up never getting released.

I've seen some of the progress of Eric Walters' film. Based on that and based on Eric's history and personality, I totally expect it to be released. I would be beyond shocked if it didn't get finished.

I don't know about Chris' project. I can see this one not happening, but I'm just basing that on the fact that he went through this same thing back in 2005 and nothing ever came out of it. But maybe Eric's film will light a fire under his butt and give him that extra push to see it through this time. Dunno. As Chris told me once, "either sh*t or get off the pot." :P

I'm actually looking quite forward to all of them if I am being perfectly honest, except 3D. I just think the other projects sound and seem a lot more exciitng. With shattered you'll be getting 'new' photographs of the family to see, but with the lost tapes you may also get to see 'new' photogtaphs of the lutzes and get to see what the kids are like as adults now that over 30 years have passed.

That would be My Amityville Horror, not Lost Tapes ;)

Ah, I see. I get the two mixed up with one another. Lost tapes, My amitiville horror.

Hi Eric! Seems you have a nice majority vote going on there, yay! I'm proud to say I'm one of many who voted their confidence in your project! It's been a pleasure 'getting to know you' over time and watching your enthusiasm blossom along with your plans. Keep up the great work!
