Very true. The trailers for the remake look good, but there is no way it can compare to the original.

All football is is a bunch of over-pumped jocks on steroids who say they're straight while they smack each other's behinds and chase each other around on a field so they can tackle another guy to play with that guy's ball.

Went and watched the remake earlier today. It had its moments, but overall, I'd rather watch Poltergeist III than sit through the remake again. I'll elaborate more when I have a chance.

Saw it today also - better than expected but not a patch on the original.

Not worth the 3D either!

What bothered me throughout the entire movie was the guy was laid off from work with no income and maxed out credit cards. How were they able to afford a house like that?

Lol, yeah. spoilers -- I'm guessing someone took that from the Amityville story - are this family faking because they are broke? - but it wasn't thought through enough. I think when they were with the realtor, there was a line of dialogue about the house being more money than they were looking for, so I guess he lied and could only just afford it. Again, the scriptwriter was probably reading Amityville hoax sites :p

BRIDGE.....you got it right! Most companies won't let you tell the truth. That is why I wrote my own book , published it for Kindle on amazon and won't let any publishing company have my book so they can take most of the profits and tell me what to do .
I tell the entire truth. I won't even put it in paperback (to expensive) nor would I submit it to the NY Times or USA Today. I have full control!
