And he should be in prison right next to Manson.

If the judge of that case (Polanski) didn't want to be so famous, he would have done some time and it would have been over with. Great documentary they made about that.

There is speculation that Manson actually did in fact kill a man. A motorcycle gang man and supposedly buried him in the desert. Unfortunately Manson was not convicted of that charge.

The manson case is fascinating imo. The reason why the Tate murders happened was because of mistaken identity. Manson was pissed off that the former owner of the Tate estate( was Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys) was ignoring him over a record deal.

Polanski? I think you got him mixed up with Judge Charles H. Older. Polanski was Sharon Tate's husband.

I know, I meant the Polanski case. Since most of the topic's been about Manson I wanted to decipher between the two

New photo shows old man Manson at 77
Charles Manson, the most notorious mass murderer imprisoned in California and perhaps the nation, stares glumly at a camera, holding his booking number in front of him.

In the latest photo released by the California Department of Corrections, the 77-year-old Manson is gray-haired and gray-bearded, a shadow of the shaggy haired, wild-eyed killer whose visage glared from the covers of magazines in 1969.

He was a cult leader back then, the domineering force behind a rag-tag family of followers who said they killed for him.

Next Wednesday, Manson faces his 12th parole hearing. It could be his last because state law now allows a denial of parole for up to 15 years.

Manson probably has many sons and daughters, but this guy is the only nincompoop that is willing to try to claim him.

I was surprised when I read this. This album of Manson's songs is apparently flying off the shelves. Go figure. Was he ever any good as a singer anyway?
