I get let down over and over with modern horror movies, they lack the atmosphere that was oozing from movies until the 80's.

‘insidious chapter 2′ slated for 2013!

Director James Wan and writer, Leigh Whannell, are working on Insidious Chapter 2 – it’s set for an American release on August 30, 2013. Returning to the film are Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty Simpkins, and all seem excited to venture into more disturbing scenarios. Production begins on January 15, 2013, check back for teasers and a hopeful one sheet in the very near future. Wan also has the film, The Conjuring, opening next summer and people are straight up raving about it. All signs indicate 2013 will easily eclipse 2012′s watered down horror offerings.

Insidious was made for a paltry $1.5 million dollars, and grossed more than $100 million at the box office, making it a massive success. Let’s hope they hold nothing back this summer.

Didn't we say all we needed to say with the first Insidious? Then again, I could argue the same with the original Amityville movie and that only has like, ten sequels....
