The trailer did the rounds long before the film appeared... so people may have talked about it, expecting it to be a part of the film itself.

The only weird thing I noticed about the mirror in the baby's room was that one night when it was warping, as if being bent back & forth (and that one scene of the baby ignoring his mom and pointing at the mirror).
I never noticed this! I will have to go back and watch it again.

I have it, but I recorded it on...VHS

I know, I still use that format. :)

Thanks for finding this, Billy!

The makers of Catfish are behind this one - and Catfish is on More4 next week in the UK on Tuesday night ;)

I like that trailer. But I suppose that scene will never make it into the finished film, now. :(

I saw both movies and enjoyed them, although I didn't see anything scary about them.

I want to like these movies but really, the trailer for the 2nd showed all of the spoilers. It has been done so much better with programs like BBC's Ghostwatch.

The trailer for the 3rd probably shows the last shot in the film (Bloody Mary). I'm not sitting through 90 minutes of suspense to find nothing happens.

Agreed. They seem to have a penchant for putting the ending in their trailers  . I'll still go see it though.

Paranormal Activity 3: Anyone excited?

Post by shuggins » Mon Sep 19, 2011 8:18 pm

October 14th, it looks like. Any of you excited to see it? Sherb? I know there are lots of haters, and that's fine, but I love these films to death (I've made it obvious). Love that genre. Never will get old to me.

I'll probably check it out. I don't find them scary, but they are always entertaining.

Caught it tonight - liked it a lot - and it borrows from Amityville more than the other 2 did... ;)

Saw it tonight. Not my cup of tea. WAY too over the top. Just too much.

Paranormal 1 and 2 were great - 3 was not good at all.

Why do they do this? Sequels need (or think they need) to amp it up too much. The subtle weirdness was gone. It almost seemed Hollywood to me.

Look forward to hearing others' thoughts.

PS: Sherb- dead on with the Amity "borrows".
