The music I like....you name it, I'm jammin it. I like it all (of course some more than others :D ).

But to narrow it down, my main passion is the jazz fusion/jazz rock from the late 60s and 70s, and the Verve soul jazz stuff from the early 60s. I'm also a major classic rock fan and an old school metal head (Maiden, Priest, Dio, Accept, Scorpions etc) and a bit of a punk fan.

Yeah, there was this Arabian metal like band that was like that to me. No idea what they were saying, but it got in my brain and could not get out.

My favourite song/music video.

Some people are like slinkies. They're really good for nothing but they still put a smile on your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

By the time you finish reading this you would have realized that it doesn't say anything worth reading and that you just wasted 5 seconds of your life

Yeah, the best part about it is that it actually sounds like she is saying those words. Most of these foreign music videos that people try to interpret as English don't sound that exact. Also, I most say, I'm really attracted to that woman, she is beautiful.

Punk rock only. My favourite 'sub-genre' being skatepunk.
I love vinyl.

Here is NOFX 7" collection so far

That's a lotta LPs :o must have taken years to collect.

My music taste varies, classic rock has always been my favourite
Genre of music to listen to - I don't mind some electronic, but
I don't tend to listen to dance music - it kind of died for me
Around the early 00s.

I have also been known to listen to 50s - 80s music every now
And again and the odd musical - Cats, Phantom, Wicked and
Jeff Wayne's War of the worlds are favourites of mine.

I prefer 50s - 70s music. Most of today's music is horrible.

Agreed. I don't know how many times I have woken up to the
radio playing that terrible song, 'Wild one.' And the amount of
times I have heard young teenagers playing it on repeat from their
phones on public transport.

The reason music is not so good these days is because the music industry is far easier
to get into than what it was back in say the 60s. Now you have televised talent shows
and searches - the winning artist usually goes on to make a one-hit-wonder or sells an
album or two, then is almost never heard of again.

Disagree, the music industry is not "far easier to get into than it was back in the 60", but I do for the most part agree with rest of what you said. The issue for me is that a lot of today's "artists" are manufactured through the "talent shows" that you mentioned. They are aimed at specific demographics, One Direction anyone?

Genuine artists have to work very hard at their craft as there is a lot of competition out there for very limited opportunities.
