thanks anyway,reason i ask because my amityville you can only get on region 1,dont help people in europe,i reckon there would be a demand here,for the other films are sold here.maybe in time it will come out on other regions.

It depends... if you didn't buy it as "all region" then maybe not. Google the model number to see if there is a multi-region hack, or wait for the UK disc.

By default, it should be set to region 0. If you changed the region at any time, you can change the region, but it isn't easy. If you have software like AnyDVD, you can play pretty much anything without worrying about the region encoding.

Some cheaper DVD players are multi region anyway.
Your best bet is to get one of those.
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.
