Thomas Mortimer IV slaughtered his family there in 2010.

Here is the realtor video of the home:

I wouldn't have any problem living there, but the house has sat empty for two years.

Maybe it's too soon for some, considering what went down there on June 14, 2010.

Here are the grisly details, and some of Mr. Mortimer IV's confession:

Mr. Mortimer snapped into a rage after his wife confronted him over a $2,499 check he wrote to the IRS that bounced.

He slit his children's throats and beat and stabbed his wife and MIL to death. A bloody frying pan and bent knife were found at the scene.

“I took the easy way out. ... I am ashamed, frightened, relieved, surprised that I murdered my family, disgusted with myself.’’

Mortimer believed his two children were better off dead than to grow up as children from a divorced home. And in one chilling section of his confession, Mortimer said that his small son had witnessed portions of the murders before he, too, was killed.

“I expecially [sic] sorry to Finn that he had to witness these horrid acts,” “It was not supposed to be this way.”

Why are murders always commited in such beautiful homes?
What that guy has done is horrific! I pray he never gets out!
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.
