Hi guys ! Found out before moving to Wisconsin my grandpa grew up on ocean av! I asked him about the horror house he said that it was a little different back in the day and same with the house on s. Ireland pl. I also asked him if it was haunted , he said he had heard rumors from neighborhood kids that a skull of an had been found In 1909? And that it had been reburied somewhere by the river and people would see a big light near the river and go there. So I thought that was pretty cool. - Jake

He grew up on Ocean av from 1922 to 1947. So quite along time.

so if the skull was reburied after it being discovered.....now remember that Holtzer did say that the body of the standing corpse was found not on property(as it is now) but about 1/4 mile away, is it possible the skull was reburied on the now known 112 property?

Could THAT be why there was/is paranormal activity there? Maybe the skull was permanently separated from the rest of the body?

I honestly don't know he says that a skull was found and then reburied near I'd guess be the back yard.
