If your House was Haunted, what would you do ?

Postby Architect of light 75 » Thu Nov 10, 2011 6:54 am

Hey guys :P

If your house was suddenly haunted or if you would rent/buy a house that would clearly seem haunted, what would you do ??

Have a nice day !

Depends on what kind of spirits they are. Often they are friendly spirts or slightly mischiefous spirits and don't really bother the occupants. Who knows, the ghosts could be very good protection against housebreak ins.

I know that I wouldn't necessarily leave because I rented a dorm room at Ottawa's Carleton University for 3 nights that I have now concluded was haunted. To make a long story short, in the morning and evening hours I found stuff turned on/off or opened/closed differently than when I left it when I went out for shopping and/or meals. The real big thing for me was when I came back from breakfast and the shower curtain was re-closed--I never close a shower curtain except when I'm in it. These were not times when I could blame it on the cleaning lady and there were no other occupants in the four room area that shares kitchen and bath facilities.

This is on top of the constant feeling of being watched and ,don't ask me how or why, but it was a feeling specifically of being watched by a female.

Since neither I or my property were being harmed it just seemed more of a bother to ask for a different room, and there remained in me a residual sense of denial until a couple months later at home when I saw this on TV about Nadia Kajouji, who drowned herself in the Rideau River which is just a five minute walk away. If you want, you can scroll down for a synopsis.

In the program they show Nadia'a room and--wouldn't you know it--it was same room that I rented.

What would I do? Exploit it for money. Sell tickets.

I like the picture too. :)
I think I would do nothing if the ghosts are friendly.

I would chase them off, it is my home. :)

I would move out. In horror movies, if you have a friendly and helpful spirit, before long, a NOT so friendly spirit is close by and waiting.

In my case that I've been experiencing for the past year or so, my ghost is always welcome since this was his home too.

If we are talking about ghosts which take the full form of a living human being then I would probably freak out, mistake them for a burglar and chase them down the street with an anvil... (where this mysterious anvil came from, I wouldn't know...).
It is better to return a borrowed pot with a little something you last cooked in it.

:P Even in horror movies no lady falls asleep and drops a kid from her laps, gosh life can be so cruel... ;)

Maybe she did it because the kid was able to draw a triangle ??

Having a ghost could be a pretty good home security system. Imagine what happens when someone is confronted by an angry ghost after breaking into your (and their home).

That would be a great horror movie though. The kids would come back for revenge though, after they teach her what a triangle looks like.  Yes, life can be cruel.
