I didn't realize they used the same Toms River house for the first three movies (exterior-wise). But they must have used a different interior from the first movie to the second - it just looks totally different.

For the second and third movies, interiors were done on a large, full sized set. Not entirely sure about the first film though.

I'm so glad I came across this and had it saved in my email. My partner and I will be looking for film locations when we go to CA in March - a few locations are from Amityville 4. One day I plan on us heading to Toms River so we can visit the Amityville locations - we've been to the movie house, but I would love to check out the other locations used!

Thankfully the recent bluray releases have the addresses visible on the houses (Dollhouse, Mrs. Tetmann, Leafblower), so it was just a matter of doing address searches in the areas they were filmed. The Dollhouse find was a big one for me too, I'm glad you now know where it is The Amityville Curse finds were pretty easy as they are quite close to the house from the film.

The Cemetery find from New Generation was relatively easy as well. Again with the clarity of the bluray, the names and dates on the gravestones are clearly visible, so I just did a google search and up came the cemetery the people are buried at.

I watched the blurays and didn't even think of trying that... however, I did notice the number on the house in "Dollhouse" and I did try locating it, but the only information I had was the house number and that it was filmed in Santa Clarita (the address does come up under Santa Clarita, too) but I never did have any luck.

It's a shame the 1992 house isn't public. I had wanted to visit it during our last trip to California, but decided it would be a waste if we went there and couldn't get in. Same with the house used as exteriors for the grandmother's house in Amityville 4. I'm told it's on a gated road, and you can't even see the house from the road. I did try contacting the owners, but they didn't seem like they wanted anyone there.

I've finally found the The Golden Raven Bookstore from Amityville Dollhouse (1996). It's located at 4378 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, and is now a property firm.

I definitely appreciate you sharing them, that's for sure. I'm a fan of the "possessed object" films from the 90's. As soon as I heard they were releasing a special edition box set for them, I pre-ordered it right away lol
