Howard from what I can gather Lorraine Warren is still doing fine. From the looks of her website she is planning some October appearances and has been doing this Warrenography Tour all year. For 84 years old, she is still following her passion in life! That is so very cool in my opinion! Whether you like her or not Lorraine is doing more with her life in following her dreams and interests at 84 than some people half of her age! God bless her and her mission!

The Warrens bother me. Why? Because in their minds "ghosts" do not exsist. Now I dont mean to insult Ed, but to the Warrens, every ghost, every bump in the night, was evil.

) who was parked in a white SUV next to us in the Walgreens lot but Lorraine Warren and Father Jim. Apprently they nwere just chilling out in together in the car talking. As we approached our car they started to pull out of their parking spot but not before their window rolled down and their hands waved us good bye! Of course I shouted bye back and waved in a state of just having a brush with greatness!!
Its funny how many times I run into Lorraine Warren around Monroe and the surrounding towns of the Gold Coast of Fairfield County Connecticut!Evanguy Reincarnated wrote:Laat night my family decided to take in a movie along with Dinner in the lovely Newtown, CT. OMG.....As I entered the brand new grand opening of the Walgreens last night 05-AUG-11 (First day this store was opened) on Main Street in Newtown, CT last night who do I see as I enter but the now world reknown and the legendary Lorraine Warren standing in front of the store with a person who resembled her late husband Ed Warren. Lorraine's back was facing us but there was no mistake that this had to be Lorraine Warren. She was all dressed up as if she just had a nice meal on the town! As I approached her, I noticed that she was having a friendly conversation with the store manager so I didn't want to interupt. When she was done, I walked up to her with my wife (Also a huge, huge fan) and said hi and gave her a big hug. I told her it was great seeing her again and she how good she looked! She looked me in the eyes and said it was nice to see me again and introduced me to the person standing next to her as Father Jim who apparently is living in the spare room on Lorraine's property at the moment having been recently retired.
I went into how I was a big fan of hers and recited all the places that I have seen her speak through the years. She was taken a back by my fandom!! People she is such a sweet and very kind woman! For close to 85 years old she was sharp and full of life! How many of us here on these boards will be luckly enough to live to the ripe old age of 85 years old not to mention still healthy enough to follow our life's passion! I told her I was excited about seeing her speak again this year in the Fall and she confirmed that "God Willing" she will again be speaking at Shelton, CT High School again. She said she has done that venue now for over 20 years in October! She also said that Ryan's Haunting show was canceled and now is in repeat. She seemed sad by the news. Lorraine said she was not sure if Ryan would be with her this year when she holds her annual Halloween event at the Whitney Farms Country Club. She also said her "Warrenology Event" was a huge success selling out with each event! Lorraine in her friendly way thanked me for coming up to her and saying hi!
Ironcially as all this was going on we were literally standing across the street from one of the most haunted areas in all of Connecticut- Fairfield Hills Abandoned Mental Hospital! This abandoned mental institue which was built around 1927 and abandoned and closed in 1995 has been the site of many shows on the supernatural including the now famous VH1 Fear which featured Lorraine Warren on the grounds of Fairfield Hills!
As my family (Wife, daughter and her friend Jenny) were walking back to our car after a having a nice stroll around the new Walgreens killing time until our movie (Kungfu Panda 2-Yes people I live a good life!!) who was parked in a white SUV next to us in the Walgreens lot but Lorraine Warren and Father Jim. Apprently they nwere just chilling out in together in the car talking. As we approached our car they started to pull out of their parking spot but not before their window rolled down and their hands waved us good bye!
