my experiences as a child

I am going to go ahead and tell you all about an experience I had when I was a child...my mom does not even know about this....I was born in 1969....shows my age huh...anyway.when i was about 5 years old my parents had me in a daycare ...i will never forget this experience and please dont make fun of me....i had gotten real sick that day and i remember going to the bathroom...it was storming outside and the lights went out while i was still on the pot...i remember opening the stall and tring to get out because i was scared but something told me to look behind me and when i did i saw 2 red eyes in the window of the bathroom...i have tried to debunk it thinking it was just headlights but there has been so much that has happened when i was a child i have my doubts

That sounds scary, especially for a little kid. Was there an red exit sign in the bathroom by chance? Those are on a back up power supply and as it was the only light in the room, the red light could have been reflecting off the eyes of some animal outside the window.

HUH...okay that makes no sense at all....i am not sure what happened i just remember it and it has always bothered me

You may have spotted a creature who's eyes were lit red because of...Oh, I don't know. I just know that their eyes light up whenever light strikes them a certian way.

Yep. My cats' eyes do that. Light has to hit their eyes just right, and I've seen them reflect different colors depending on the brightness and colors of the lights reflecting on their eyes. Kinda spooky at night at times when I come in from outside into the dim light of the living room, look up the stairs, and see a pair of eyes at the top of the stairs. I'll turn on the light on the stairs, and it'll be Chessie or Casey watching me.

maybe it was an animal,cat... whatever ,all i know is i remember it very well and at the time i remember how frightened i was....i think at that age i really didnt know what was going on actually i still dont...i thought about it as i got older and other experiences i had as i was growing up...and some things i may never be able to explain

Do you remember how high the window was? Like was it at a level where cars could be seen easily? Maybe it was an animal in a tree or bush? Just wondering, what other things were outside around the window that could explain seeing what you saw. I'm not doubting you, just trying to see if there is something that could explain it. If not, then wow, that's scary.

Did you ever experience any other activity in the Daycare? If not it was probably a cat or animal seeking shelter under the window frame outside. My one cat's eyes glow red like the devil and when we first got him it scared me to death because i didnt know what it was either. Curse those stupid reflections

We are talking about a 5 year old here. 5 year olds tend to have quite active imaginations.
