I couldn't believe it when I saw it, but looks like 112 has been obscured from view on Google Maps.
You can, however, still see it from Riverside Ave (across the water).
I appreciate the owners deal with a lot of gawkers etc., but this seems a little OTT, no? And surely all it does it spark even more curiosity. Just like Homer Simpson telling the taxman he's going to remove the numbers to his house to stop the guy returning, all people have to do is locate the unblurred house next to 112 and they're there!

I saw this about a month ago. At first I just thought there was an error while the page loaded....and I thought 'what an odd anomaly'....but then I refreshed the page and of course, still blurred.
And I do agree, it's a little over the top.
I'm all for keeping the current owner's identity private. But that's what you get when you buy one of the most famous haunted houses in the world.
I'm also amused by these signs located near the house....

This attempt at hiding the house is almost as bad as this....

I never knew the house had so much shrubbery at one point.
Actually that would be a good idea if they don’t want gawkers: plant a lot of tall hedges and trees all around the house.

And now, from looking at the satellite view, it says 112 is the site of "HerpetologyNMKD", which is described as a Nature Preserve...

So Amityville are taking the socialist approach and rewriting history: "There is no house there, there never was!"

Well, its a private address after all that has history around it.

This is typical of the new America. They remove anything that they don't want you to discuss or explore.
