AMITYVILLE TERROR (2016)

Post by sherbetbizarre » Fri May 27, 2016 3:49 am

This appears to have been we haven't mentioned yet...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5312612/?ref_=ext_shr_fb_tt

Trailer at link.

Image
Directed by Michael Angelo (that’s a very artsy name) and written by Amanda Barton, Amityville Terror stars relative unknowns Nicole Tompkins, Kaiwi Lyman, Kim Nielsen, Amanda Barton and Tonya Kay. The horror movie comes from from Uncork'd Entertainment, and we have a few new stills of the upcoming horror film, as well as a synopsis.

When a new family moves to an old house in Amityville, they are tormented and tortured by an evil spirit living in their house, and trapped by the malicious townspeople who want to keep them there.

There's nothing like being trapped in a house with an evil spirit inside, I tell you. Good times. Check out the new pics below and let us know what you think. Amityville Terror will open sometime in 2016.

The American r&b artist who beat up his girlfriend at the time Rihanna and also pretty much anyone else who is unlucky enough to cross his path... that was a bad joke posted after an all-nighter that seemed much funnier at the time :(

Gone are the days of straight-to-video. Now it is straight-to-Netflix.

Lordy. I guess in fictional Amityville there is a city ordinance that mandates all homes must have quarter-moon windows.

I just watched this yesterday. It was awful. I'll never get that time back.

I didn't see this (probably a good thing), but I did catch The Conjuring 2 last month. Went and saw it with our kid.

Not bad.

This was the movie Amityville Awakening should have been! Not as good as Asylum but has that 90's feel to it. Will watch again later.

Check out the movie poster Sherb showed above: Munster's house meets The Conjuring (hanging noose on a tree).

Original.

The Conjuring was original according to you then? Sounds like you haven't seen many horror movies buddy.

But anyway... no film is 100% original and its perfectly fine to borrow.

Never said The Conjuring was original. But the house in the poster was nothing like the one in the movie. But I guess it is fine to borrow.

Never said but meant sir. You cant get away making fun of a movie not being original by comparing it to The Conjuring - perhaps the most non-original horrror of the last ten years.

I was not trying to get away with anything, mainly because I am entitled to my opinion and I really have nothing to hide in which to get away with. You seem to be the only one with the issue of my statement. Which is yours alone to own. Time to build your bridge.

You are disrespecting the film. No need to get upset, it doesn't make you a bad person or anything.
