It's just slow development since I have little free time and almost everything in the project is custom made for it.

Very impressed. Dining room wallpaper is sinister in an unsettling way--maybe it's the print design. For some reason certain patterns look creepy, but this was the '70s.

A minor detail

Crash wrote:Here's an update on the interior, been working on that the last day or so- the stairs are my main focus since they're most complicated.
Mostly finished the exterior now and added the boathouse and garage, working out the scale of the garden also.
These are just some simple renders at the moment as it would take some time to set up proper lighting on the scene and will wait till it's textured to do that.

I haven't been able to confirm the screen door was on the houseduring the period I'm setting my game, this photo time period isn't exact (sherbetbizarre believes it's mid-Feb, 1976 but I cant find any more info on that) the video from the Cromarty-family era shows no screen door so not sure when it was removed and if I'm adding it yet.I doubt the door was there at the time of the tv investigation or shortly after (when my game is set) I do know I have to add the exterior back screen doors though.

Also forgot to mention in the YouTube video at 7:08 Cromarty claims the door is the "original" - the main door appears to have glass window panels unlike the De Feo/Lutz house door and no screen door so not sure what she's referring to (the frame?)

You can see a dog house next to the garage in the broken screen door photo that isn't in the crime scene photos and newsday seems to date it 2-14-76 so Barbara Cromarty seems to be wrong about it being the original on all accounts.

The tv investigation a month after the photo on March 6, 1976 didn't show the if the screen door was there or broken so I'm presuming the screen door was gone since I'm sure it would have been photographed and the main door was changed before the Cromarty's or by them.

This newsday photo appears to show the door being replaced and shows the new Cromarty family door which is without the screendoor and with main door with new glass windows and different side lights and new painted siding was clearly taken later and on the back of the photo states "door supposed ripped off"..which must have been written by someone later who didn't realise it was a later photo.

Thank you! I wondered where you got the Newsday photo--Never seen that before.

The buggy photo I referenced was only seen, on my end, in the DeFeo photos from '74. So by '76 it may have been replaced! :)

Crash when you finish the whole house and start making important events, npcs etc. You could release a demo that let you explore the house, the game could win more popularity and you could see how it's framerate in different pcs

Some of what I've been working on recently.
The third floor bathroom, not far from finished - just little items to add and the kids room / Ronnie's room. The kids room has lots of smaller items to go into also but all the major furniture is in place and just need to make a few adjustments and clutter it a bit.

I could only find one photo of the Lutz version of the bedroom so not a lot to go on but in the my Amityville documentary Daniel Lutz said his and his brothers beds were shaking and hitting against each other. This is the only position I think that would be possible based on the photo / description.

Yes,there was a photo from the Warrens investigation of the room showing part of the room, based on that.

Here's some extra screenshots showing the rooms, one thing I've been wondering is if there's a online source for extra crime scene photos.
The one that caught my eye in particular that I haven't seen before was from the Shattered hopes doc and showed a money box stashed in the parents room under the door tread / carpet.
I'm presuming Shattered hopes got the original photos from the police so the photos aren't online? I take it the Holzer photos also haven't been published (other than the one screenshot Sherbet posted)?

I did state, 'Another Jim, lol. Cheers!' but 'Hello Jim' is fine although I wasn't saying hello. If I was, I would have said, 'Greetings' as is customary for me. Next time you'll know better.
