Downey Haunted Farmhouse-Newtown, CT

Post by Evanguy Reincarnated » Sat Oct 19, 2013 8:31 am

I drive by the Downey Haunted Farmhouse in Newtown, CT a lot. I am always facinated by this house. It has been abandoned for a long time and sits on this huge piece of property right off of Rt. 34 in Newtown, CT. It looks so scary looking. I would love to walk in there and have a look around! I can't find too much about the history of this house but it is very old.

I'd love to photograph that.

Evanguy, do you know what the current plan is with the Sandy Hook school? I'd like to photograph it as it is being torn down

I still drive by this house on Route 34 in Newtown, CT and it still gives me the creeps. You can see kids have broken in and vandalized some of the house but it is still up and spooky looking as ever. I would love to be able to tour the inside of this house but realize it is private property and would never trespass.
