Question about a book

Post by Brooke Forrester » Sat Jan 06, 2018 12:41 pm

I’ve seen there was a book by Kathy’s sister, have any of you read it and is it worth reading?

We've had quite a discussion about it.

It might be worth the money depending on how much you are willing to pay for a good laugh. I thought it was largely a waste of money, as I suspected it would be.

And since we're on the subject of comedy here, I suggest (the even more comedic) books - "Amityville The Final Chapter" & "Amityville II".

Those and the books by Hans Holzer. All are worth every penny you pay for as far as laughs are concerned! Providing you can actually finish them?

Thanks for the answers. I won't buy it then if it's that silly.

I do have Amityville II and the Holzer books but I got two in a lot, and the Curse my sister had. I read them but yeah, they were difficult to get through. The only Holzer book on Amityville I like is Murder In Amityville, even though it does have some crazy allegations.

I'll check out the link for the thread on the book I asked about.

It’s not bad. It’s been a while since I’ve read it. It’s way better than Secret of Amityville.

I am curious about how worth is reading is a few other books:

Mentally Ill in Amityville

Amityville: House of Lies

The Night The DeFeos Died

Thanks in advance.

Have only read one of the list you've given, and that's The Night the Defeos Died. It's utter garbage.

High Hopes - which I treated myself to via my Christmas gift money - literally came this morning, and I'm engrossed. I can see why you all recommend it so heartily!

Edit: There's more on book recommendations here: http://www.amityvillefaq.com/truthboard ... es#p162530
